Material- and component-level testing was conducted at the NUST laboratory, including structural core testing and behavior evaluation under load. These results were used to calibrate a detailed finite element (FE) computer model of the fort. This model served as the foundation for the retrofitting design, ensuring safety, durability, and minimal intrusion to the historical character of the structure. The project contributes to Pakistan’s cultural heritage preservation through sustainable engineering, integrating community awareness and academic collaboration. Services: Material and component testing, structural assessment, finite element modeling, retrofitting design, heritage conservation. Keywords: Baltit Fort, Hunza, structural retrofitting, heritage conservation, finite element modeling, material testing, NUST lab, cultural preservation, INN Consultants, Bendcrete, Bendcrete.
